Alise Post signs deal with Promax Components

Last week, with much anticipation created on social media, Alise Post announced she would be riding a GW frame in 2017. This week, she sliced off a few tasty appetizers and showed off some of the components that would go in to building her perfect race rocket.

The final piece of this pro-sponsorship puzzle is a Promax pronouncement that puts Alise on a new component line for the first time in many moons.

Here’s what Promax said, in the Alise release:

Promax Components, which is distributed globally by Quality Bicycle Products, is proud to announce the recent signing of Alise Post as a sponsored rider for 2017 and beyond. Post is a 2016 Olympic silver medalist, the reigning #1 USA BMX women’s pro, and a multi-time national champion.

“I am really happy to announce partnership with Promax for the first time ever. For me, it’s always about developing relationships and representing brands that truly support me and want to do more for the sport, so I’m grateful that they’ve acknowledged my successes and chosen me to be the face of their brand,” says Post.

Post has been carefully looking for the right sponsors and, as a Saint Cloud, Minnesota native, was eager to work with a local company. QBP’s recent acquisition of global distribution of Promax opened the door for Post’s ongoing sponsorship.

“I’m thrilled to have worked out a sponsorship deal with Alise. She is an amazing athlete and a great role model for anyone involved with the sport. I’m excited to see what the future holds for her and for Promax,” says Dan Maier, Promax Brand Manager at QBP.

Alise joins fellow Olympian Nic Long on the Promax Pro team.

Alise started things off right, with a win at the 2017 USA Cycling BMX Elite Championships in Rock Hill, SC. That event was held as day one of the 2017 USA BMX Carolina Nationals, so we will see two more days of pro racing in Rock Hill. The USAC win was Alise’s SEVENTH in a row for the once-annual event, and she will keep running the US Flag sleeve for another year.

News is on-scene at the in Rock Hill, and will bring you photos of the freshest incarnation of Alise and her solid new ride.
