Breaking: Anthony Dean Goes to Supercross
The BMX News “Big Ears” ticker has been tuned in on recent rumors that Anthony Dean would soon find a new sponsor, ahead of the start of the 2017 Pro season. It was tough to get a solid signal on where he might be going, until the ticker-ears started flapping big-time over the weekend.
Today, News is pleased to announce that Anthony will be joining smilin’ Bill Ryan and the Factory Supercross Family in 2017! His first appearance will be at the Pro Opener–2017 USA BMX Winter Nationals in Phoenix.
It’s a special-kind of deal, which will put ADean44 in a full TLD kit, with Supercross logos, alongside other key sponsors, Shimano and Tioga, plus a bunch of other brands who have signed-on in support of his program (listed below).
Anthony told News the following about the big deal:
I am super-excited to be teaming up with Supercross for 2017, alongside my other co-sponsorship deals.
It’s no secret I have been searching for a major sponsor for the 2017 season, and I am stoked to have landed one of the greats. Bill and I have been in talks for some time now, working on this deal, and I’m very pleased to have the deal done this week.
I couldn’t ask for better support, and I’m looking forward to the year ahead, taking my Supercross BLK to the Podium very soon.
A big shoutout to the Supercross family and every-one of my co-sponsors, for coming onboard my program and backing me 100%.
Editor’s note: Anthony’s 2017 co-spos include Troy Lee Designs, Shimano, Tioga, Speedline Parts and Vans…plus, Factory Supercross Co-sponsors which include Onyx, ODI and KMC. (links added to highlight brands who are also BMX News advertisers. Links open in new window, so you don’t lose your place.)
Bill Ryan had the following to say about the big pickup:
We at Supercross BMX couldn’t be happier to welcome Anthony to the Supercross BMX Family! Everyone knows what a great racer he is, with his Olympic performance and Grands win.
But, what most people might not know, is how hard he is working to give back to the sport off the track as well. You will hear more about that in future articles on BMX News.
The entire Supercross BMX Family of stand-out racers is ready to welcome him to the tent and help him achieve his goals.
Be sure to stop by the Supercross BMX pits at the USA BMX Winter Nationals in Phoenix, AZ to say hello to the entire Supercross BMX Family and help us welcome Anthony to the squad!
Some awesome news up there! Congrats to Anthony and Supercross on getting together to put up a big-threat for 2017. We’re looking forward to getting the first-photos of the new ADean program in Phoenix!
