2012 BMX News Athlete Headshots
With the start of the 2012 USA BMX Elite season in Oldsmar last week, News felt it would be the perfect opportunity to invite some of the top riders over for a couple studio-style headshots in their 2012 kit. The turnout was robust, with 57 athletes from 22 teams passing over the viewfinder. All told, we ended up with a final set of 361 images in the four-hour session.
We thought you’d enjoy paging through them, as we feel we captured some awesome shots of your favorite athletes, teams and BMX personalities.
There were some who were not in on the Oldsmar shoot–either because they did not yet have their 2012 uniform, were not at the race, or were not in town in time for the shoot. Never fear…we’ll be doing a second session in Chula Vista next month, when everyone in the BMX universe should be on-hand.
