Study Starts Pro Career Off Right

Josh Study Doubles in first Pro Outing

Lots of times, its tough to recognize the faces behind the full-faces*…so as we were tapping out our recap of the UCI race in run as part of the Redline Cup Finals West, we thought it would be a great idea to give you some face time with this guy. Josh Study…certainly no stranger to national results pages just got his Pro card, and gated up for the first time right here in Boulder City.

Riding, in the modern era, for the Dan’s Comp/Nema/Felt/Kenda crew, Josh doubled up in A Pro his first weekend out–doubly sweet that it was for his home crowd. No doubt he’ll be quick in single-A, and we’ll be watching for him in the Elite jungle sometime in 2012.

Congrats on the wins, Josh and see you in the viewfinder soon!

*This passage was particularly prophetic when, not five minutes after writing it, News posted a photo that we thought was Josh, but was actually Corey Reid. We bashed ourselves with a tack hammer a time or two to ensure something like that never happens again.
