Derby City Gets Ready With Refresh

The lead-up to the NBL Grand National is, for Louisville BMXers probably neck and neck with Derby Week, itself, in terms of the excitement, preparations and adding those finishing touches that make southern hospitality so hospitable.
In recent weeks, ABA maestro of the mud, Billy Allen has gone where no ABA Track Builder has gone before: to the Derby City NBL track. While in town, there was no dozin on the dozers, as all four straightaways got a refresh, complete with a first-turn triple affectionately named “Mount never-rest”
People are starting to flow into town, catching the Marathon Weekend action before the Grands schedule takes over on Wednesday. There is still time–why not hop in the car this afternoon?
But, for those of you not hitting the highway til next week, we figured we’d bring you a few teaser shots of the track.
