Podcast: Ryan Birk with Answers on Answer

Over the past two years, Answer BMX has navigated a course of events, not unlike the gnarliest Supercross track known to man. There were highs, lows, twists, turns, and even a box jump or two.

The finish line, in this case, was really the beginning of a whole new race, as Ssquared Bicycles owner John Sawyer stepped in (see BMXNEWS.COM, October 12, 2010) last October, to bring much-needed capital and stable leadership to the company’s operations.

Ryan Birk had been the public face of Answer BMX since March of 2009, and was a critical force in paving the way for the change in ownership to John and his group. Ryan stayed on to help breathe new life into the iconic brand, and worked closely with John to put plans in place to usher in an era of innovation and expansion for the Answer product line.

Fast-forward nine months, and the fruits of that work are just now starting to become reality. We asked Ryan to come on the Announcers Tower Podcast to talk about their progress, the new products in the pipeline, and a coming re-activation of their rider/team co-sponsorship program.

Definitely worth a listen!
