Quebec Cycling Holeshots with ProGate

ProGate is a varsity operation…they are known around the world for top notch service on their top notch product. Only one company can lay claim to being the starting gate used in the Olympic Games…and that’s ProGate.

So, when we got a news release telling us that they had been selected as the gate of choice for Quebec Cycling Federation, “FQSC” (don’t ask, it’s a French-Canadian thing), we were happy that FQSC was cozying up to Pierce Barker and team.

Quebec’s cycling federation (FQSC) is glad to announce that ProGate, manufactured by ProStuff LLC, is now the official BMX start system in Quebec. The enterprise which has developed the start protocol recognized by the International Cycling Union (UCI) will, among other things, support the FQSC in its efforts to promote BMX. ProStuff LLC is the official start gate of the UCI.

But ProGate’s implication does not stop there! Aside from the three year deal sealed with the FQSC, ProGate has involved itself with Quebec’s BMX Club as well as with Bromont’s Cycling National Center (CNCB). Within the framework if these partnerships, the start gates in both Quebec and Bromont will be modernized. With the upcoming BMX National Championships in Quebec, this association arrives just in time! “ProGate clearly raises the bar on the standard of safety and performance never seen before in the sport of BMX!” says Bruno Vachon, FQSC’s BMX and Cyclocross Technical Director.

Through the use of patented Transfer Bar technology, the ProGate Safety Gate System optimizes performances sports wise while improving security and safety. Thus, the system’s eight gates will always be synchronized and protect the riders at the same time.

The work will be done during the month of May. “We are excited about the future of the relationship with FQSC and very much look forward to working with our friends in Quebec” commented Pierce Barker III, President of ProStuff LLC.
