False Alarm on Padilla’s Broken Wrist
April 19, 2011 by BMXNEWS.COM Editors
Factory Supercross star, Nate “The Bull” Padilla gave us all a little scare on Saturday, when he crashed in practice for the USA Cycling BMX National Championships on the big track in Chula Vista. “Nate broke his wrist” was the early call from the pits. The Bull got patched up and was back on the fenceline in time for us to snap this frame during the race. Nate and his fans were ready for a six-to-eight-week hiatus, then maybe a few more gettin back in the groove.
But last night, Nate’s dad, Bob, sent the out the following tweet:
The Bull got the clearance from the Doc today. No broken bones, just a sprain & should be ready for the U23 Camp next week at the OTC.
Very happy for Nate and the whole Supercross BMX family.
