Nobles Joins SE Factory Squad

The forums had been bubblin for a week or two in advance of the official announcement, which came in the wee hours of New Years Eve. Barry Nobles will crate up his Clayborn and ride a Ripper in 2011. No doubt, the strangest things about the first race of the year, is seeing your favorite riders in a different uniform than you’re used to seeing them in. A couple years ago, it was Stumpy in his GHP gear after being familiar in GT for so long. Or Willoughby in Redline at the 2009 ABA Grands. Come Reno 2011, we’ll be seeing Barry in his Brown & Blue (News is stoked to see TL going back to the classic “Factory Boys” colors of the glory days), rockin that black Nat #1 cruiser plate on a Floval.

SE Racing is proud to announce the addition of Barry Nobles to the factory squad for 2011. He will make his debut at the ABA Silver Dollar Nationals in Reno, Nevada. Barry has been racing in the Elite class for 5 years now & has piled up 59 career podiums, 10 wins, and won the ABA National Pro Cruiser title in Tulsa last month.

For 2011, Barry’s focus will be defending his cruiser title, earning a top-three plate once again in the Elite class, and earning ultra-important UCI points at the Supercross World Cup races in order to qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Javier Colombo, SE’s other Elite rider, has reclassified to the Vet Pro class & will be making big waves with Dave Bittner in the class for 2011. SE’s amateur race team has grown tremendously with many new top-rider additions. The new team will be hungry for some team victories this year! The team is being headed up by Troy Wagner of HBR fame.
