One of our high-placed covert operatives sneaked a photo of this napkin drawing of the 2010 ABA Grands track layout as the bulldozers were out moving the dirt around on the floor of the Quik Trip Center in Tulsa.

Wow! An amazing, revolutionary design awaits us in T-Town. An 11.5 feet tall starting hill and a rare Amateur decision-maker will bring untold excitement to this year’s Greatest Race On Earth. The pro layout features a gap jump reminiscent of last year’s, and appears to have lots of length for those come-from-behind charges in Main number 3 on Sunday.

On the “ABA Grands Track” thread on Vintage, Bill Curtin posted:

Billy Allen just gave me the lowdown, You’ll need to get your sprint on with this track, boys.

85′ to the first jump and then 70′ to the second jump. Almost 200′ of hauling before turn one.

Six days til practice opens, y’all!
