Cisar Suits Up With Nema

BMXNEWS.COm reports on BMX Racing Team News with Steven Cisar Joining Nema International

BMXNEWS got word late last night that former Haro star Steven Cisar will join the newly-created BMX team of Nema International. Nema is a Ventura, CA- based manufacturer of cycling apparel, and boasts that its products are specifically designed for cycling.

Based on the report we received, It was unclear if this new sponsorship would be Steven’s primary ride (as in “getting him to the races and paying a salary to keep his mind on training”), or if it is an apparel-only deal, and a new factory ride will be coming down the pike.

News checked out the Nema Website this morning, and it already has Steven’s picture up with a “welcome” message (above). But he is not yet added to the official team roster. Nema has two lines of pants, the Revolver (sizes 26-38) and the Gambler (sizes 30-38), both at $119.95. They also have numerous models of shorts. At present the line seems to be geared toward the MTB crowd, but we assume that with Cisar’s involvement may come a line of BMX-specific gear.

We’ll look forward to watching Steven and nema’s progress as the season continues, and as Interbike gets closer on the calendar.
