BMX Hall Of Fame Nominations Open

Today, the BMX Hall Of Fame announced that nominations for the class of 2010 inductees is open. The BMX Hall Of Fame was created in 1985 by the ABA, and currently has nearly 100 inducted members. If you appreciate the history of our sport, take part in the process by downloading a nomination package, and put forth the person you feel is most worthy of the honor.

There are four categories in the Hall Of Fame. They are:

BMX
Freestyle

BMX
Industry

BMX
Pioneer
Racer 
(1979 
and 
earlier)
BMX
Racer
 (1980 
to present)

The resulting inductees will be officially recognized at a ceremony at the San Diego Hall Of Champions on September 16, 2010. The following day, their plaques will be posted, and displayed in the permanent Hall Of Fame museum at the US Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA.
