Part two of our coverage on the recently re-discovered SE STR-1 frame (one of only 10 prototypes made from June – September 1978). In this segment, BMXNEWS.COM editor Mike Carruth is joined by former SE Factory Ace Seth Bucceri. It was Seth who, during a stint in the shipping department at SE’s Signal Hill, CA warehouse, happened upon the frame sitting on a shelf. We pick up the story 31 years later, as it sets fire to the BMX community, becoming the so-called “holy grail” of collectors from Seattle to South Africa
Seth wanted to send a shout out to his Girlfriend Debi and his daughters Christina (18) and Amanda (16), and to thank them for their support all these years.

*Editor’s Note: We mentioned in the interview that Seth was a BMXA NORA cup candidate, but that was just a “best recollection” at the time. So, if we jelled on that…sorry.
