Nic Long Update: “Feelin Good…Not Much Pain”

BMXNEWS received a late-night/early-morning (depending which coast you’re on) text yesterday from Nic Long. He wanted to update us on his condition, saying “I still want to race the Grands. My body is feeling good – little to no pain in my collarbone or ribs, but I have an infection from the incision that my (drain) tube was in. That’s the worst pain I am in now, but I’m on antibiotics and hoping to start riding my bike next week.”

We’re pulling for Nic’s speedy recovery first, and foremost…then his return to the gate. Sounds like those two things are running parallel, which is awesome. More on Nic from Tulsa!
