ABA Teams Up With Harman/JBL
Just got a tasty news tidbit from Shannon over at ABA. Seems ABA has been working the sponsorship magic for the Grands again this year, and has brought Harman International and JBL Audio Equipment to the proverbial starting gate to award some hi-end hardware to the 2009 ABA National Number One winners. The release tells us that “all eight of the ABA National #1 title winners will receive a Harman Kardon receiver/ JBL 5.1 home theater system.”
And, for the winners of the N.A.G 5 Challenge: “a JBL car audio system consisting of a 5-channel amplifier, 4 JBL speakers and a JBL prefab subwoofer to both the boys and girls winners of this ever popular event.” The whole magilla will put more than $13,000 in gear in the hands, living rooms and whips of the top BMXers in the known universe.
To top off a great new partnership, ABA has arranged for “all ABA BMX members and their families the opportunity to purchase great products from the best names in audio at a discounted price….These purchases will help support the ABA with future joint programs, and will also help support our own Olympic hopeful, Alise “The Beast” Post. Alise and JBL have partnered through the 2012 Olympics and JBL says “we are very excited to have her representing our brands, and this great country.”
