Becerine and Fields Bring Free Agent Big Wins and Dom Trucks On

Saturday at the 2009 ABA Disney Cup brought the first running of the 2010 UCI Continental Series. In Elite Men, Cristian Becerine was focused on both upgrading his second place on Friday, and leaving for holiday on the best possible note…both of which were realized Saturday as he mastered the main wire to wire, with KY in second and Barry Nobles turning a hella good lap for third (and winning the non-UCI Pro Cruiser).
Junior Men also turned fine for Free Agent as Connor Fields muscled the main in all the right ways, especially in the first turn, where Corben Sharrah challenged. The Con-Man made it home first with Sharrah, Campos and Juan Marin chasing.
Elite Women ended up with Dom Daniels extending her “only-lost-two-laps-in-three-years-at Disney” track record, with Stephanie Barragan and Alise Post rounding out the podium.
More from Orlando as we get the three-day recap together on Monday-Tuesday. The photos, however, will be posted tomorrow, so please come back here for the link.
