Herman and Fox Roomies at the OTC

David Herman and Kris Fox just spent their first night bunking at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA. The AA pros are there for a three-month intensive training and conditioning program that allows them to focus 110% on their aspirations for the London-bound 2012 Olympic BMX Team (and presumably allows Program Director Mike King and his team to observe them under a variety of conditions). Once Kris and David’s time is up, in May, two new athletes (said to be Joey Bradford and Denzel Stein) will take their place in the dorm. When asked if the accommodations at the OTC were more The Ritz Carlton or Motel 6, both answered similarly by saying “neither, really…more like a really nice college dorm.”

Both David and Kris were out at Lake Perris for practice Wednesday night, preparing for this weekend’s ABA So. Cal nationals. Check out the photo gallery
