One-Kenda Team Report: Strombergs wins Gold!

The European and World titles werent enough for Maris Strombergs from Latvia. The Latvian rider has won the first GOLD medal in BMX and it was also the first GOLD medal for his country at these 2008 Olympics. Without a doubt, Maris was one of the favourites for GOLD along with Mike Day from the US.
Except for 1 quarter final, Maris made a clean sweep by winning it all.

Country fellow and team mate Arturs Matisons was unlucky today. Arturs did so well in the time trail and quarters, but bad luck was on side on the most important day of the year. No main event for him.
ONE/Kendas Gabriela Diaz from Argentina wasnt able to go for a medal. A nice 5th place was her result.
