The public and media got their first chance to check out the new US Olympic BMX Training facility in Chula Vista, CA. Mike Redman MC'd an afternoon of hob-knobbing, ribbon-cutting, chit-chatting and a short demo by Steven Cisar, Kyle Bennett, Mike Day, Donny 'mr.suit' Robinson and Arielle Martin.

The track is a close replica of the actual Olympic track in Beijing, China and will be used by Team USA riders for the next 7 months. It was cool to see founders of the sport like Stu Thomsen, Toby Henderson, Perry Kramer and many others in attendance and there were plenty of suits on hand for the official ceremony and ribbon-cutting. Bring it on!
