The 2006 NBL Grand National has been nominated for an ‘Event of the Year’ Award by the TEAMS Magazine and Conference and Sports Travel Magazine. If we get enough votes, the NBL will be presented with an prestigious award at their conference in October and this would be a huge boost for the sport.

Event Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible for the 2007 SportsTravel Awards, an event must have occurred between July 1, 2006, and June 30, 2007. In the case of a series or circuit of events, some part of the series or circuit must have occurred during the eligibility period.
Voting Criteria: Based on your knowledge of these sporting events, please vote for the event in each category that you believe is deserving of recognition based on the following criteria:
- The organization of and attendance at the event, series or circuit was superior.
- The event, series or circuit provided a superior experience for competitors and/or spectators.
- The site(s) or venue(s) of the event, series or circuit enhanced the event, series or circuit.
