Triple Crown for Bennett?

September 7, 2007 by BMXNEWS.COM Editors

thumb_kyle_with_trophy.jpgFree Agent's Kyle Bennett is looking like the man to beat with only a year to go before the Olympics. Kyle doesn't need any extra pressure and we know he can handle just about anything life throws his way. He edged out his team mate Cristian last weekend at the NBL Grands to win his third NBL Elite Title. This ties him with Terry Tenette for the most NBL titles. For the record books – Bennett won both the NBL and UCI titles back in 2002. There's still a bunch of ABA Pro series races left so this could be the year for someone to finally win the Triple Crown. He's got the two big titles under his belt – can he take the ABA title too? Intense/Socko's Danny Caluag and GT's Randy Stumpfhauser have other plans for sure.

And of course next year, can someone win all four? The ABA and NBL pro schedules will be interesting to see with all those UCI races on the horizon. Â
