ABA Canadian BMX Program Expands to Ontario!

July 23, 2007 by BMXNEWS.COM Editors

canadian-logo.jpgLast month the ABA was proud to announce two new ABA Canadian Tracks, and this month we are very excited to proclaim the addition of Ottawa BMX in the province of Ontario. Ottawa BMX will now become the backbone of ABA's presence in eastern Canada, and will proudly host the 2007 ABA Ontario Provincial Championship Series. The ABA Ontario Provincial Championship Series will be a great addition to the province for both the riders and the track. The riders will be battling for incredible number-plates provided by Tangent as well as backpacks for each age group champion, provided by Fly Racing. John David, ABA Director of New Track Development, had this to say, "Ottawa BMX is a great example of ABA's goals and objectives in Canada. ABA is providing the best available services and product for both the riders and the tracks, and Ottawa BMX choosing to be ABA is proof of that!" Terry Lipovski, Ottawa BMX President, said "BMX riders in Ottawa are genuinely thrilled with the change to ABA. We have researched this thoroughly and are fully confident that the ABA has the right strategy and strengths to benefit our track and members." The Harbour City Nationals, the second event in the 2007 Canadian National Series, will take place August 3-5th at Nanaimo BMX. This will be a one of the best events of the year, as Nanaimo BMX, located on Vancouver Island, is known for being one of the best hosts of major events in North America.  For more information:
