Double A Marketing – USAC National Championships, Waterford Oaks, MI

June 10, 2007 by BMXNEWS.COM Editors

aamarketing.gifJoey Bradford went into the USAC National Championships with an unbeaten record at the 2007 NBL Junior Elite Events and he looked towards this weekend to take home 2 more wins. As the Junior Elite Class is age 17-18 year old racers, its boast some tough competition and Joey knew it would be no easy task to win.

As the motos raced out, Joey was once again going into the main event unbeaten and ready to claim the first ever USA National Championship for the Junior Men. As the gate dropped, he had the holeshot and lead until the 2nd jump where, he came unclipped and regulated to almost last place. Joey got clipped back and was able to catch up to 3rd place, but there wasn't enough track for him to catch the fast duo of Nick Long and Lee the Flea. Joey finished 3rd.
In the Junior Cruiser Class, Joey would come back and win the title. Not as satisfying to him and the Junior Elite title, but still capturing a piece of BMX history, Joey was happy and ready for his next big venture- A 3 week trip to Europe to race in a few of the European and English national events.
