Kolich Scores Podium in Virginia

Woodbridge, VA (April 28, 2007) The Avent-Bombshell-Maxxis pro team continued the BMX world tour as team rider Jarrett Kolich made a successful return to the reputable podium last Saturday during round seven of the UCI North American Continental event held in beautiful Woodbridge, VA – just outside of our nations capitol in nearby Washington DC.

Jarrett’s third place showing in the ultra tough elite Men’s class was enough to earn him some valuable UCI points as he surges to stay within the top 10 in the UCI North American Rankings.Â

“It feels great to finally get a result after a slow start to my 2007 season,” says Jarrett. “This podium will boost my confidence and keep me on track for bigger results. Plus we all know there are only two months left before the biggest race of the year in Canada this summer,” he later said.

Jarrett’s next event will be a tune up race in Roseville, CA during the ABA Nor-Cal Nationals before he regroups and turns his attention to the last UCI race in Prunedale, CA on May 19. Then the final preparation for the biggest race of the year gets under way which coincides with Jarrett’s ultimate goal for the year – securing a podium spot at the UCI World Championships in Victoria, Canada on July 28, the first Olympic points race as the hype to Beijing gets under way.

Look for the Avent-Bombshell-Maxxis Pro team at all the UCI domestic and international venues, the NBL Pro elite Series, and a select few ABA Nationals in 2007.  Â
