VBS Race update
“VBSKENDA Race Team report for Virginias past national. (Yea its a little late, but we now have a lot going on with us just starting to sell custom screen printed mesh hats, sublimation BMX jerseys, and socks coming soon). The VBS-KENDA Team had a wonderful weekend in Lexington Virginia a couple weeks ago. The team won Saturday Team NBL Competition with Rocket BMX on our tail. On Sunday the team finished second right behind Radd Racing. The weekend was a tough one for VBS-KENDA with only having seven riders present to compete but they did it well and in style. Most riders won their mains and some had taken seconds and thirds.”"A few of the outstanding ones were Brittany Hansel in the 15 girls cruiser class. This was her second weekend ever racing the 24 class and she had taken perfects all weekend in it. Others were Louie Taylor and Gary G Boling, battling it out with each other in the 17-24 expert and cruiser class (both switched up 1st & 2nd for the weekend in cruiser). Shyla Shirkey and McKhenna Calhoun did the same battling it out with each other in the 6 year old girls class (switching up 2nd & 3rd places). Matt Hardy won both days in 10 open (first time racing this in a long time) and had perfects in his expert mottos, but had bad luck in the mains both days. Danielle Parish had taken 2nd all weekend in 14 year old girls. Jake Miller was out there in front, but seemed to have pedal problems (trying to get him to give Crankbothers pedals a go). Rachel THUNDER Smith, whom didnt have enough riders present to race the Elite Womens class in Virginia, so now if that wasnt bad enough for her in Virginia. So now besides getting a banged up nose from a little one (whom she tried to take his some named energy drink away and give him a can of Bawls) No he was running down the stairs in Lexington, I just got word that the same thing has happened in Puerto Rico this weekend. There were like only a hand full of female riders present. Now whats happening with this? This was a sanctioned UCI race and no other Elite Women showed up to race, so this means she and a few other young ladies wasted hers and their time and money for nothing but some sun. Above photos are Brittany Gary & Louie Shyla & McKhenna Rachel Jake Danielle Matt Now we cant forget about some of the ones behind the scenes and a few others.
