Redman Reno Press Release
“Reno came fast after winning our 3rd ABA Factory #1 Team Championship. Everybody was moving slow leading up to Reno, but the weekend came and things heated up fast. Like the championship team Redman/Yamaha has proven itself to be we got things going by winning the first National of the 2007 season. Taking the #1 spot in the factory division on Saturday and picking up a 2nd in factory on Sunday to the always tuff Intense/ Phantom/On-Trac crew. Congratulations to Chuck, Donavan, and the team for their win on Sunday. It looks like its going to be another dog fight all year long. We cant forget about the Answer Factory and Statts Challenge teams. With all their new riders they are much improved as well as all the other Factory teams. Good Luck!”"Speaking of new riders, the Redman/Yamaha team has reloaded big time with three new riders. Although all three riders were not in Reno we know they will have a huge impact for the rest of the season. First up, a young hotshot and a force to be reckoned with. Out of North Carolina, current UCI World Champion, ABA Grand National Champion and NAG#1 10 Expert, Cole Tesar. For most teams that would be enough, but not for a Championship Team like Redman/Yamaha. We didnt stop there. We also picked up out of Massachusetts, the ultra accomplished 11 Expert Jarred Reuter. After taking a break for baseball and cyclocross racing, Jarred has a renewed commitment to BMX racing for 2007. Watch out, hes going to have an awesome year. It doesnt stop there it keeps getting better. Welcoming back to the Tribe two time ABA NAG #1, Vance Wisendanger 19-27 Expert. With Vances years of service with the Tribe, his recent international UCI experiences, and his past #1 Titles, Vance will be a force in 2007. As for the rest of the race in Reno, Tyler Fuller took a win in 7 Expert on Sunday. Kelsey Van Ogle, as usual winning both days in 8 Girls. Brock Heffron was unstoppable, winning both days in 9 Expert and 9 Under Cruiser. Jordan Miranda took a win in 12 Cruiser on Sunday. Brooke Crain was regaining her form winning Sunday in 13 Girl Cruiser. Corben Sharrah winning 14 Cruiser on Sunday and 14 Expert both Saturday and Sunday, hes incredible. Chris Verhagen winning 36-40 Cruiser and 36-40 Expert both days, we cant say enough about the ABAs National #1 Cruiser rider.
