What got you into biking? My older brother was always riding and I started to follow him around like little brothers do. So on my 9th birthday my dad took me to my first race.

What was your first bike? GT Interceptor, seriously.

Which GT model are you riding now? I will be riding the 07 power series ultra box.

Where is your favorite place to ride? It would probably be my friend Randy's house. We don't have too many places here to ride but it is close and fun. If I could choose another place it would be a set of new trails I have never been to.

What has been the best place in the world that this sport has taken you? I would have to say Japan because everything is so different from anywhere else I have been. Try going to Denny's for breakfast and getting fish.

What one rider has influenced you the most? Brian Foster – He has good style and could also win races; I love to watch him ride.

If you werent a pro rider, what other profession would you like to do? I would like to be an architect and design homes.

What is your routine before competition? Get up in enough time to sit and eat breakfast, warm up, stretch out and get ready for the race.

Who were your heroes as a kid? As a little kid I was a big fan of the Ghost Busters. (I even had the backpack.)

Who do you look up to now? Tiger Woods because he is the best at what he does.

Who do you like to ride with/against? Bubba. We have done it forever and always try to out-do each other. That makes it fun.

Whats your goal(s) for 2007? What are your BMX race career goals? My goals for 07 is make the World main, win the overall in the Supercross series and put myself in good spot to make the Olympic team. As for my racing career I would like to win the Worlds and the 2008 Olympics.

If you werent racing bikes, what might you be doing? I would probably be going to school full time to become an architect. I've always wanted to design super-modern, custom houses.

Whats the worst job you ever had? My only real job was when I was 16 at the smoothie shop. I made smoothies for about 6 months but it went out of business (not because of me). I turned pro at 17 and concentrated on racing full time, so I wasn't trying to find a replacement.

Whats your credo? Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope and strive for tomorrow.

What do you like best about riding for GT? I like being involved with such a great group of riders and the support everybody involved gives to each other. Over the years it has sponsored some of the riders that I have looked up to the most. I'm really excited to be here. Glad youre here, too, Mike. Welcome aboard."
