Avent Bombshell rider Brown resigns two year deal

“January 6, 2007 – (San Diego, CA) Team Avent Bombshell rider Tyler Brown agreed to terms on a sponsorship agreement that will keep him on Avent and Bombshell products till the end of the 2008 BMX racing season. Tylers immediate goals will be to secure a spot on USA Cyclings High Performance Program by concentrating on the UCI/NBL Continental events, UCI Supercross and the BMX World Championships held in Victoria, Canada this summer.”"Keeping Tyler onboard for two more seasons made a lot of sense for us, says company Brand Manager, Mike King. Tylers approachable attitude and marketing awareness with sponsors is always a plus. In addition, Tyler has impressed us with his dedication and desires to make the BMX Olympic team in 2008, added King. Im super stoked to continue the team again, says Tyler. I have a new found confidence along with a revamped training program and it seems to be working, he added. Tyler recently won the pro invitational race in Lyon, France and finished second at the NBL Christmas Classic in Columbus, Ohio. Tyler is currently taking a seven week break from competitive racing to focus on his next scheduled race which is round 3 & 4 of the UCI Continental series in Boulder City, Nevada. Tyler will be racing the new Avent TR7 bike, and plans to chase UCI points in his quest to make the US Olympic BMX team in 2008.
