“Hilliard, Ohio / December 6, 2006 – The National Bicycle League is proud to launch their brand new website which completes Phase One of a multi-phase project that promises to become THE resource center for BMX Racing on the internet. Welcome to Phase One of the NBL’s new website – The NBL Digital BMX Racing Hub. Not only will the new site better serve our tracks and members, it will also provide current information on How to Start BMX Racing, How to Start a New BMX Track, and an exciting PRO Section to provide fans with a peek at the top BMX Racing athletes in the country and from around the world. All of the standard sections including points, results, and schedules have been redesigned and new the format features vastly improved navigation with plenty of buttons to keep you busy during your stay.”"The site has been designed to offer improved functionality while maintaining a race-inspired look. Our new site will enable us to better communicate with our tracks and riders, bringing the NBL community closer together says Kevin OBrien, NBL Marketing Director. And this is just the beginning we plan to add additional features and improvements to adapt to the ever-changing demands of our industry adds OBrien. Phase Two of the new site will feature a comprehensive Track Operators Resource Center and Additional Member Services to provide our growing number of tracks and riders with current program information, FAQ’s, idea sharing, and plenty of resources to help them promote their local programs. Navigating around the new site is simple – Click on the BMX Track button to find an existing NBL track, or browse through a number of materials on how to Start a New Track – a valuable resource tool for potential track directors and City Park planners. The Track Info link will keep our BMX tracks informed about the latest events and news so they can help educate their members and volunteers. One click at the top right will get you inside the all-new NBL Kidz section where kids can play games, download coloring pages, and check out monthly rider profiles and features like the NBLs new Bring-A-Buddy program. Click over to NBL History and see how the NBL was formed in 1974, pay homage to Our Champions, and then visit the Pro Section to see the BMX stars of today. Before moving on, be sure to check out the NBL Store to pick up something for those Christmas Stockings!
