The 2006 NBL Grand National returns to Louisville
“The National Bicycle League is proud to announce that the 29th annual NBL Grand National will return to the legendary Derby City BMX facility located at EP Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky on September 1st through the 3rd, 2006. This years National Championship race will bring to a close one of the most exciting seasons in recent history and is expected to draw more than 3500 riders over two days of racing. The NBL Grand National showcases the fastest riders and teams in the country as the 2005 Champions defend their titles and the challengers make their bid for the highly coveted NBL National #1 Plate and some fine NBL awards.”"The NBL Grand National IS the premier event of the year offering a unique blend of race action, awards ceremonies, and contests, culminating with the highly anticipated National Champion Presentations. In addition to the numerous Amateur awards, the NBL will award $10,000 to the Elite Mens Champion and a cool $2,500 to Elite Womens Champion. Be a part of the excitement this year.
