ABA Gator National Wrap Up

“ABA Awards $18,880 in PRO purse money at second stop of 2006 ABA PRO Series. The second stop of ABA Pro Series was off and running this past weekend with great success at the Gator Nationals in Oldsmar, Florida. With huge Pro rider counts, a great track and big money on the line, the racing was nothing short of spectacular. By the end of the weekend the ABA handed out $18,880.00 to the top Pro Riders in Women, Vet, A and AA classes.”"On the track the racing was a treat for the spectators. A Pro was again dominated by one rider winning both days. The big winner both days was KYLE WEISENBERGER and believe it or not this kid is looking for a ride. Somebody better pick this guy up quick! The other Pro classes featured different winners each day. Women Pro was won by Redlines KIMBERLY HAYASHI on Saturday, while FLY Racings KRYSTAL HIME took the big win on Sunday. Answers CHRIS HAM brought home the wins Texas stile by winning both days in the stacked Vet Pro class. AA Pro was dominated by Redlines BUBBA HARRIS on Saturday and a solid second on Sunday to back it up. The big news coming out of the Pro racing in Florida was Haros new pick at the beginning of 2006. DEREK BETCHER showed everyone in Florida he is the REAL DEAL by taking home his first big AA Pro win. Derek is the only AA Pro this season to make all his mains and doesnt seem to be slowing. Big congrats to Derek on his first AA Pro win. Sidebar on the weekend was ABA Pro Title contender, Kyle Bennett, was injured in a crash in Pro practice. ABA wanted to wish Kyle a quick recovery and Im sure well see him back there very soon. If Oldsmar, Florida is any indication, the 2006 ABA Pro Series is going to be very exciting.
