Soner Pearl Raceway Thanks!

“We would like to announce that due to some GREAT people in the Oklahoma City area and all across North America, Sooner Pearl BMX Raceway is once again having sanctioned ABA BMX racing. As the old saying goes ‘When the going gets tuff, the tuff get going’ and so goes it with the ABA BMX ‘family’. Sooner Pearl BMX has replaced enough of the items stolen back on October 24, 2005 to start racing again. Although news of our track having a break-in and most all of our equipment stolen, news of our re-opening has been slow to get out. Although the track is running with the bare essentials the track is now able to have races.”"Our PA system is a little shaky but all else is fine and we have replaced a majority of our stolen equipment. Currently we are running a PA system with some ‘on loan’ items. Sooner Pearl BMX will start the 2006 ABA season on January 1, 2006 (weather permitting) as we have since the track has opened in 1987. This first race of the year has proven to be a great race to attend as we are fortunate enough to have riders from Oklahoma and the surrounding states attend which makes this a great race to start a new year. Sooner Pearl BMX would like to say THANK YOU to the following for their hard work and donations to help our track recover to start racing again.
