“Yes, I have been slacking on the BMX News, but I am starting early on my New Years resolution to update the website weekly. Here goes: Scotty Cranmer Scotty has been testing his new Sheriff frame and he really likes it. 5.2 lbs, Internal, mid bb, tiny drop outs, etc. The rest of the details about it are in the product pages of the website, it will hopefully be available in February. Scotty just came out to California to film the last part of his section for the upcoming Mirra video, not sure the name of it but it is filmed by Brian Purdy and has section from at least Mirra, Aitkin, Harrington, Guettler and Beringer.”"Paulie Lange It has been a few weeks but Paulie had a really good showing at the ABA Grands. Paulie has had a rough year with a few crashes and injuries and this seemed to be his turn around weekend to get back to his old ways. Paulie won Pro Cruiser (from lane
and made the AA main finishing 8th. This was the last race of the year for the ABA National and he ended up # 4 on his cruiser and # 8 on his 20″”. In a few days Paulie is headed to the NBL Christmas Classic in Ohio, Paulie has not raced much NBL in the past but will be hitting the big ones this year. Paulie will have the brand new Felt BMX jersey for the first time. Factory Felt-Saab-Extreme Sports The East side of the team will race together for the first time with the new uniforms next week at the Christmas Classic. They picked up a few new key riders and looks they they will have a strong crew of riders. Over the next few weeks I will be sending photos of the riders and there new traveling rig. The West guys will race in the new uniforms at the ABA opener in Reno, NV 1/6/06 New frames Sector Aluminum frames got a major change for 2006. They are on the way and will be ready to ship by mid January, if everything goes right you may see some at the ABA opener in Reno, NV. Paulie has been on his Sector XL and Sector 24 for the last few months and they are right on. They come in Black and Paulie Pink, the Paulie Pinks are already sold out in some sizes so get them quick. Like I said before Scotty’s Sheriff frame will hopefully make it by February. Felt is actually making the new chromoly frames in 3 versions. 1- Sheriff, two sizes, brakes on seat stays, gyro tabs, 19mm chain stay and seat stay. One color 2- Le Chef, one size (20.55), brakes on chain stays, gyro tabs, 22mm chain stay and seat stay Two colors 3- Bodo, two sizes, brakes on chain stays, no gyro tabs, 22mm chain stays and 19mm seat stays, One color Felt is a worldwide company and each country will decide what frames to bring in. Right now USA will be carrying the Sheriff and other countries will be carrying other versions.
