“Block Jam 4, November 19th”

This year Block Jam 4 will be held on November 19th from 9:00am to 7:00pm. The GT BMX Stunt Team will be on hand and will be setting up the street course. Mania TV will do a live remote from Block Jam all day long. Interviews with the 8 bands and numerous athletes between videos. 100.1 The Edge Radio is sponsoring the event and will be doing live broadcast through out the day.”We have confirmed Stephen Murray (X Games Dirt Gold Medalist), Mikie Day (NBL National ..1 Pro BMX Racer and all around rider). Austin Coleman (street god), and Bands include Victory Within, Eudora, Common 3rd, Over It, National Product, Section 8 & Nothing Special. The Fuel Network is sending out a crew to film for Project Detention, We have a crew coming out to film for Fox’s 54321 and to do our own DVD. As well as 2 additional independent video guys, one filmed for Best of 2004 BMX last year in which Block Jam got a 10 minute section. Last year we had well over 50 pro and sponsored riders and we expect that to be double this year. We had well over 5000 spectators last year and we expect to double that as well. Rick Pruitt will be directing his second annual vintage bike show at Block Jam which will host Rick Twome, Bobby Encianas, and Dave Clinton along with a ton more BMX legends. The Ricks Bike Shop Booth will be showing never before shown videos of Soledad Sands 74, Yamaha Gold Cup – Coleseum, and the Shimano Grand National from Randall Ranch courtesy of Bobby Encianas. He will also br bringing out his personal museum af BMX artifacts never seen before by general public. Ricks Bike Shop will be selling official replica 70′s race jerseys only available at Block Jam. There will be a judged contest in the following vintage classes: 70s BMX, 80s BMX, BMX Cruiser, & Non BMX. Prizes will be awarded per class and the overall BMX bike will win a SE Floval Flyer.
