Stile Industries is finally back in Florida

October 3, 2005 by BMXNEWS.COM Editors

“Stile Industries is finally back in Florida after a four and a half month summer tour (134 days). We started on May 11th in Califorinia, routed back through FL to pick up the limo and trailer and were off to teach clinics and hit all the summer nationals east of Texas, returning home on Sept 19th. It’s funny because all summer we read magazines to pass the time while driving from clinic to clinic and read all about some big team’s 7 Stop Tour across the midwest or something like that, giving them a two page story in a national magazine. We had 88 clinics schedualed, 11 of those were cancelations due to weather, producing a total of around 1200 clinic attendees.”"We attended 15 National weekends, and a bunch of local and state races. To accomlish this there were two crews on the road, covering ground from Texas to New Hampshire, and FL to North Dakota. We pretty much lived and slept in a limo or a van the whole time, the other times we stayed on friends floors or campgrounds. A large thanks goes out to everybody who helped us out over the summer or let us stay at thier place. Another big thanks goes out to Sparky, Doug Stephens and Adam Gonzalez for putting up with me (Justin) and Colin all summer. Our Goal as a company is to promote longetivity in the sport to try and decrease the high turnover rate of young riders, by increasing the level of a rider and promoting the fact that bmx is as much a lifestile as other sports, and not a hobby to be dropped when you turn 16. Last but not least I would like to send out a thanks to all the companies that supported us through the summer by getting us some quality parts that lasted, even after all those nationals and all those clinics and all the random street and trail riding our bikes still have the same parts on them as when we left. A BIG thanks goes out to Kim and Steve at Brew Racing Frames for our long lasting light weight frames www.brewracingframes.com, Termite at Profile for our cranks, sprockets and hubs www.profileracing.com, Chris at S&M for our Forks, Stems and Bars www.sandmbikes.com, Phil at Vegas Hoops for our rims gtslv@yahoo.com, ODI for slip proof grips www.odigrips.com, Kovachi for building the strongest wheels around www.kovachiwheels.com, Cane Creek for our Headsets www.canecreek.com, Chad at Shimano for our pedals, shoes and brakes www.shimano.com, Ray Hudson at Fly for great uniforms and protection all summer www.flyracingbmx.com, and Mike Gentilcore at Elite for great riding shoes www.elitefootwear.com.
