It has been a while since we have asked for a National event here in Puerto Rico. Finally we got our wish. Back in 1984 I raced the first and only NBL Tropical National here in Puerto Rico. It was great for us. Lets leave it there. It is too old school. Four years ago we invited Robbie to Puerto Rico; he said Yes, I will be there. He was the first elite rider that has come to Puerto Rico in a long time. The RM59 tropical BMX Challenge was born. And each year the race was bigger and better.
