“Racers and race fans, its that time of year when all the states have their races to crown the racers that have competed all summer to become State Champions. Up here in Northern California Oak Creek BMX is once again hosting the Nor Cal State Championships. Keeping the tradition alive and bringing added excitement to the local level Tangent Products will be holding its 3rd annual Pro/Am race to break in the brand new Oak Creek Track. For the last two years this has been the race of all races to find out who is the best among the pros and amateurs in Northern California. The first years race in 03 was a close one between two brand new Nor Cal rookie pros.”"Felts Paulie Lange and DR Donny Robinson dragged race to the finish with Donny getting the win by inches at the line. Last year the battle came in between DR and Specialized Brandon Meadows with BM taking home the cash and the Ride snowboard. With a lot of todays top AA pros, super fast rookie pros and many top amateurs you can expect some great racing action! Please come out and join us in support your favorite locals on Sept 25th for the Nor Cal State Championship and the 3rd Annual Tangent Pro/Am. The Tangent Pro/Am does have limited entry slots and racer requirements. All racers must be at least 15 years old, hold the rank of expert, and race in full uniform. All entries will be reviewed before final acceptance into the event.
