Revised UCI Worlds Predictions.
“There has been sometime since the last time we had this thread in Forums. Here is an update on the favored pros going into Bercy and where they stand. This will give you an idea on what to bet on and who is the underdog. The former 2 time UCI World Champ, Kyle Bennett is not attending and we have a red hot rider entering the scene in Michael Day, who just beat ABA’s Harris (3rd place 04′ UCI worlds) on his own turf 2 out of 3 events with a Friday AApro win and ABA Forld Pro time trials, claiming HE IS the fasted kid in ABA right now. Will Bubba break out the cruiser to break the Redline bank? Bubba doesn’t care what bike, what race, how many AA’s showed up, the critics, the fans, ABA or NBL. Bubba will come home with a medal. He’s got everyone psyched out the way Purse did in 98. But this is BMX and anything can happen as gork used to write in the old ABA battle charts.”"Who was in europe training and getting acclimated to the time zone a week in advance? Your usual body odor stinking Euro, Robert Dewilde. Will Bob Dewilde who is UCI World ranked #1, finish that way with a second taste of the Rainbow jersey (99 UCI World Champion)? Team Australia reported to switzerland a week early with Luke Madill (who doubled at last years ABA Grands) and Current UCI President, Warwick Stevenson who skipped last weeks ABA National to prepare for his title defense. Australia will be without defending Jr. World Champion, Michael Fenwick who is now out with a broken arm from doing his sprint training on a velodrome. Will super-coach, Australia’s Sean Dwight (who took Kyle Bennett to two UCI World Championships) have Stevenson and the Aussie crew ready to defend the Rainbow jersey or will Greg Hill bring the China men up to speed for an upset? Will the French make up for their lackluster performance from last years Worlds of not having a single “”french fry”" in the main? Will showing up with a dozen road bikes, 2 chiropractors, massage therapist and their own chef “”Tour De France”" style enable the French team to go faster? Did French coach, Fabrice Vitoretti get them the sauce they needed in time from Dr. Sauce, Michelle Lalange, who decided to sell out with a camp in Switzerland training a bunch of moto fillers? Or will Christophe Leveque step in to the crazy Bercy arena and surprise everyone by showing up from an extensive training camp in Cabo (where epo is legal) and come out swinging, like the 6 page thread with Larry Local pulling out all stops with a property history title? Will Matt Pohlkamp break his usual routine of “”not racing the UCI worlds ever out of the North American continent”" and show up to Paris or will E.T. phone home and tell Matt to keep the Kuwahara in Ohio. How about the American Pacific crew of John Purse (97 UCI World Champion) and Berkhiemer? Will they make the main and save their season? Berkhimer pulled an upset with a UCI World #4 in Holland last year. Will past 3 times vice champion(3 times UCI World Cruiser Champion), Stumpfhauser finally be the groom instead of the bride? How about Ivo Lackus (who failed a drug test in France) Will he stay natural and give the French federation the finger when he sits on the podium? Will Dale Holmes scrounge his way into he main and draw lane 1 to be the worlds only 3 Time Pro UCI World Champion or will Allier (98 and 2000 UCI World Champ) celebrate history on his home turf? The you have the Crupi pros (no white boys here) with J-rich (94 UCI World Cruiser Champion) who has made the UCI Worlds main in the past 4 years in a row with his best finish being a 4th, finally break into the top 3 for a medal (Sorry J, no one remembers who wins cruiser). Don’t forget Cristian Becerine (Vice Champion 2004 UCI Worlds) who could upset the whole show with a lethal 1-2-3 and get out front and hopefully he doesn’t have Bubba Sparks or Mike Jones behind him through the rhythm. It very well could be an American in Paris part 8. UCI World Championship betting how to: Straight bet or Single or Win bet. This is the simplest and most common bet. You bet on a winner at given odds. You collect only if your chosen Elite Pro is the first across the finish line. Place. A wager for place means you collect if your selected Elite Pro finishes either first or second. Show. The third Elite Pro across the finish line. A wager to show means you collect if your selected Elite Pro finishes either first, second or third. Combination Bet. Combinations cover from two to four Elite Pro to win in chosen order.”
