Not to be outdone by big brother, Redman’s Kelsey Van Ogle, also coming off another double-double win in San Bernardino, is herself sitting comfortably in the ABA National Top Ten (NAT #4) and solidly in ABA NAG #1 slot continuing the Redman/Yamaha tradition of fielding the fastest brother-sister combos in the land!”"Other springtime stand outs for the Tribe include A-Pro and Superclass rider Andre Ellison who returned to serious racing (having divided his efforts in the past between racing and as one of the sports youngest, most stylish dirt jumpers) to podium in San Bernardino as well as in Las Vegas a week earlier at the NBL Silver State Nationals. Not to be outdone by his younger younger pro-tege, Darrin Mitchell also took home podium dollars-1st Place!-from Las Vegas. Likewise, back in amateur action, 16 Expert Joey Betheriaume also scored a perfect in Vegas, capping off an impressive early season run. Together, with teammate and fellow 16 Expert Joe Sowers (whos currently sitting NAG #1 16 Cruiser), the two look to dominate the ranks of the ABAs Terrible Ten rdquo; as they enter the hot summer racing season. Of course, Joe and Joey will have to work extra hard not to be outdone by their newest teammate, 2004 ABA World Champion and National #1 19-27 Year-Old Expert, Vance Wisendanger who rejoins the Tribe rdquo; in what amounts to his 6th season in Redman/Yamaha blue and 10th year racing for TM Richard Huvard. In cross rdquo; related news, the Redman/Yamaha women also dominated ladies racing at the Sea Otter Mountain Bike Classic this spring as Hannah Huvard racing expert women took home the GOLD in Mountain Cross and the bronze in Dual Slalom, while sister Abbie Huvard took home the Dual Slalom GOLD in the sport category. As well, joining her female compatriots on the mountain, Brooke Crain also made the podium taking home two silver medals in sport womens Mountain Cross and Dual Slalom.
