FACTORY HYPER RETAINS NBL TEAM TITLE CHASE LEAD
“FACTORY HYPER RETAINS SOLE POSSESSION OF NBL TEAM TITLE CHASE LEAD Carlsbad, California The Number One team in BMX, Factory Hyper / No Fear / Tangent, went into the NBLs Heartland National in Akron, Ohio tied for the NBLs National Team lead. After sitting atop the points chase all year, rival Dans Competition tied for the lead after splitting wins with Hyper at the East Coast national in Egg Harbor, New Jersey. The tie didnt last long as Hyper racked up twelve wins on their way to two first place team finishes in Ohio, thanks to hard work from Hyper standouts Anthony Derosa, Samantha and Sinead Miller, Doug Hayes, Justin Posey, and Jud Ciancio.”"Next up is the NBL Tarheel National at Tanglewood in North Carolina this weekend. With only a few nationals left in 2005 and the NBL Grands right around the corner, the NBL National team battle is heating up and there looks to be a team showdown brewing for Louisville come September. One things for sure, the Factory Hyper crew is ready to three-peat as NBL champs in 05! On the ABA side of things, Factory Hyper rolls into Oak Creek BMX in Roseville, California for the Spring National this weekend. Coming off two huge (and needed) wins at the US Nationals last month, Hyper has been against the wall in ABA competition all year with injuries and this race is no exception. Although the team gets ace 14 expert and current NAG #1 Ben Kubalak back from an ankle injury, Hyper standout Bobby Edson is out with a shoulder injury sustained in San Bernardino. This once again leaves the team with limited team sheet options. A bright spot, though, is the return of Mike Lundy to team competition. Mike has dominated early in 2005 and there has been much speculation about his debut in the Pro ranks. Could Roseville be the place? Only Lundy knows. With a team roster that includes 4 time ABA National #1 Alise The Beast Post, World Champ Lahsaan Kobza, current NAG #1 Chad Kerley, and 4 time world champ Jacob Abbe, Hyper is still in an enviable position. In other news, Hypers new Assault lineup of superior race frames is flying off the shelves. And at an unbelievable price of $249, youll still have money left in your pocket to actually go racing.
