The factory crew headed to the right side of the US for the start of the east coast swing of the BMX national circuit, looking to extend their lead over the competition. With some standout performances from Chad Kerley, Mike McGonigle, Bob OGorman, Justin Posey, and Krista Fournier, the Hyper / No Fear squad remains on top of both sanctions team standings.”"First up was the NBLs Easter Classic held in Orlando, Florida. The Hyper / No Fear team rolled into Orlando BMX to do battle with some East Coast heavies. Lance McGuire, Mike McGonigle, Warren McDow, Bob OGorman, Diego Alejandre, Dougie Hayes, Krista Fournier, Amanda Carr, TJ Johnson, Anthony Derosa, and Justin Posey rocked the house coming away with a first and a second in team competition. Next stop was Tampa Florida for the NBLs Gator National. The small crew that hit up the Gulf Coast track included Lance McGuire, Mike McGonigle, TJ Johnson, Warren McDow, Justin Posey, Connor Fields, and Krista Fournier. The team rocked on Saturday with a second and still managed a respectable fourth on Sunday despite some crashes. Stop three was Atlanta Georgias Cobb County BMX for the ABAs Dixieland Nationals. Lance McGuire, TJ Johnson, Warren McDow, Diego Alejandre, Chad Kerley, Anthony DeRosa and Krista Fournier. Behind a huge double double from Hypers standout 11 Expert Chad Kerley, the team won the Factory competition both days. Last but not least was the NBLs East Coast National just outside of Atlantic City in Egg Harbor, New Jersey. Mike McGonigle, TJ Johnson, Jud Ciancio, Bob OGorman, Trae and Terrell Proctor, Diego Alejandre, Doug Hayes, Anthony DeRosa, Justin Posey, Sinead and Samantha Miller, and Krista Fournier, pulled down 25 wins for the National Champs. All in all, Hyper scored a win and a second in the team comp. In team happenings, Hyper announced that they have signed top 19-27 Expert Robert Edson to its factory roster. Bobdawg has rocked the class this season winning every main he has entered except one. I am super stoked to have Bobby on board, he will make an immediate impact on our team sheets, stated team manager TJ Johnson. Bobby is an excellent rider and fits in perfectly with our program. Expect to see Bobby on his brand new Hyper Assault XXL in San Bernardino at the ABAs US Nationals. Another big rumor has it that Hypers ace 18 Expert Mike Lundy is going to turn pro sometime soon. Will it be in San Bernardino? I guess well have to wait and see. One things for sure, out of all the ams ready for the pro ranks, Lundy is one of them with skills and speed to match. Last we heard Lundy had a Ken Cools advised training program and we all know what that did for Bubba. Last but not least, Hyper added Lance Mosely and Scott Wirch to its freestyle team.
