FMF Factory at Great Northwest National
FMF Factory team went to Pasco as 5 and came out with 6. New pickup for the team is Rosemary Adams top 16 year old girl out of Canada. She had a good week in Pasco with 1st place finishes both days in class and a 4th and 2nd place finish in cruiser. The rest of the team also did good. We didnt come out with the points we wanted but the riders were great representatives of a great product. We finished with a 5th on Saturday and 6th on Sunday. If we can replace our bad luck with some good luck we will come out with some really good finishes in the future. The team was led by Drew (Wonder Woman) Mechielsen in the 7-8 mixed open and 7 Girls class. She won the 7 girls both days and got 2nd in open on Saturday and went down battling for 1st in open on Sunday when she was making an awesome move on the older girl in the class. Dan Bushnell (the old man of the group) came home with a 3rd on Saturday and 1st on Sunday. Hayden Mechielsen did good in the 9 expert and cruiser classes making all his mains and had some good finishes. If it wasnt for some bad luck he would have even done better. Josh Klatman is looking better every national we go to. In cruiser he had a 6th and then Sunday looked like he was in for a good finish when he went down. In class he got 4th on Saturday and had some more bad luck as he was looking like 2nd coming out of the first corner when he got caught in the crowd and ended up 8th. Then Nick Berger riding fast all weekend was looking real good Sunday when he got caught in the crowd and had to settle for a 6th place finish. Now after the Reno and Pasco nationals we are looking forward to improving our standings and the year goes on. Look for the crew to continue to improve throughout the year.
