March 1, 2005 by BMXNEWS.COM Editors

“World Class BMX Pros, Robert De Wilde (Staats Factory) and Jason Richardson (Crupi Factory) have signed an agreement to run Tektro Brakes for the 2005 BMX Race Season. De Wilde and Richardson consistently finish in the top eight on the ABA and NBL BMX U.S. National Circuit, and both hold top ten UCI BMX World Rankings, with Richardson finishing with a World Elite Men’s #6 and World Elite Cruiser #2 for 2004 and De Wilde ending up with the World Elite Men’s #8.”"Richardson and De Wilde will be running Tektro’s BX25 brake and Sabre lever, both “”BMX Race Only”" products from the “”Tektro Race Products”" line of brakes. Both items are value added in that they both bring strong performance and quality to the race, but are very in-expensive in their price range. Tektro Race Products are available at independent bike dealers all across the world and are spec’d on many manufacturers complete bikes that are sold in bike shops and raced on BMX tracks around the world. Tektro will also be a presence at many different international BMX events, including most of the NBL Elite Series Nationals, select ABA Nationals, the European BMX Championships and the UCI BMX Worlds in Paris. The Tektro presence at the races will be manned by BMXmania.com’s, Jerry Landrum, a long time Tektro supporter. Tektro is in the process of updating their website, so watch for more info soon at www.tektro.com”
