Went to the doctor in the afternoon and he gave me an air brace & told me to stay on the crutches. At night, the whole POW house went to Scott Breithhaupts to discuss a POW grip and possibly other parts made by ATI. They will give us a 5% royalty. That aint much split seven ways, so Ill probably set up a photo contingency with ODI. Brian Lopes was there discussing grip stuff as well."

Looking Back Now
Two weeks after destroying my ankle at the ABA Grands, I was still on crutches. I remember the whole concept of the grip we wanted. It was going to have dollar signs on it and we were going to call it the P.O.W. Money Grip. I remember we were all so psyched on the idea. Of course it was never produced. If it was, I bet the grips would fetch some good money on E-Bay! Right after that, I got sponsored by ODI. And here we are 14 years later and Im still riding for ODI! And now Im the sponsor rep as well. Ive got some roots with the ODI crew. At one time, I even had a signature grip with them. I wonder how much my grip would go for on E-Bay? Yeah right"
