Warwick talks about MADE

“We all saw the MTV show “”Made”" featuring Warwick Stevenson last week. Now hear what he has to say about the experence. Was the show worth doing? Was the summer to busy for Warwick? Check out this short interview with the MTV star himself.”"Warwick, Good job on the show. How did you end up on the MTV Show MADE? I think that they wanted someone that was on top of the sport (not trying to brag but) they heard of my recent world title, plus they contacted Haro for product and it was a perfect match being a Haro sponsored rider. Was the show scripted the whole way through or were you on your own to do what you wanted? I was on my own about 90% of the way. The show has a few certain guidelines to follow that they coached me on but it was all me for the most part. How long were you actually in Pokemoke, MD? Could you live there? I was there for 7 weeks but I was flying back and forth to races and to china, then NBL grands things like that. Which was hard cause i was always jet lagged. How much stuff did the show leave out in the final airing? Was there a lot more that we didn’t see? Yeah they left out quite a bit, there were more interviews and she had a couple more races. It was raining that night and she had flats and everyone had clips. The School Dance! What were you thinking? On the show we saw 2 seconds of the Dance, was that part of the MTV deal or were you really into it? It was fun. It meant alot to Lawryn to have me there, we had gotten really close and it was something different that the guys from MTV never thought I would actually do. If you look I didn’t pack those cloths on my trip. MTV bought all that stuff just for the dance. We had a great time and it was an eye opener. You may have felt tired at the NBL Grands from all the filming and traveling. It may have cost you a title. Now looking at the show, was it worth the time away from your training? Its hard to say I had alot of fun doing the show and I hope it leads to greater opportunities. But it would have been nice to concentrate on the race. Because with all the traveling I got sick the Thursday before the race. The Yoga instructor…. Did you hook up? Don’t lie now. No no no she was married to the executive producer and he was always around. She was really nice…”
