NBL Las Vegas Cancelled

February 23, 2005 by BMXNEWS.COM Editors

Attention all NBL BMX parents, racers, teams and volunteers: Due to uncontrollable weather conditions in the Las Vegas area, this weekend’s Elite Series national event at Nellis BMX must unfortunately be postponed until a later date. The Nellis BMX volunteer group has done everything within its power to get the track ready and save this event. After two weeks of rain, yesterday evening’s torrential downpour flooded the Nellis BMX facility again.”"The NBL has decided that in the best interest of its riders and teams, we have no choice but to postpone this race to a later date. Our goal has always been for our riders to be able to compete in the best possible conditions. Postponing this race ensures everyone that the riders and teams come first within our organization. We understand that many of you already have travel arrangements made for this weekend’s event and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused to all of you. We will be announcing the new date via the NBL website within the next 24 hours so that new travel arrangements can be made. Thank you for your continued support of NBL BMX racing.”
