“Mike Day Interview from Tours, France”
Mike Day raced the Tours Supercross over in France and had a few minutes to sit down for an interview. Mike is currently on a mission to have fun and race the races that are worth the trip. From the looks of it choosing to race Tours was a good choice. Interview from Gary Hellman "Mike how did you do yesterday? I ended up getting a fourth place. How was the main event? I did good, I got a good start, but my first straight wasnt quite up to par and kind of slid back into 7th, had to make a few passes and ended up 4th. What do you think of the track? Super good, coming from America its amazing; last years was a little harder but this years flows a little better. What do you think of the races in Europe? Its good but strict, at home we get a little more practice theyre a bit more lenient but its alright. Do you think the ABA or NBL could learn something from France or Europe? Nah I think they got it pretty well handled with the way the run their program and the way I think it should be run. Got any goals for this year? Im just going to do the fun races, the races I want to do. Im not going to try and get a title and be number one, try to do some mountain biking, no real number setting goals right now. Any training secrets? No, I need to go get some. Does Romero have any? I dont know, I dont talk to him that much. Any Thanks? Jason at Staats, Red Bull, Oakley, Fly, Answer Forks thats about it."
